This is the boys' favorite activity lately--gathering every soft thing they can find and taking turns piling it on top of each other. It really makes clean up time fun for me :)

Well, we made it through the holidays, and now it's just winter . . . I hope everyone had a very merry christmas and wonderful new year!

There's no getting Brandt away from this. Luckily, Joel is content with watching, and Brandt tolerates it . . . until Joel's leaning limits Brandt's complete visibility of the screen.

The worst thing about trying to put a blog together is that I've been really bad about taking pictures, so I don't have much! I feel like a terrible mother! I have tons of baby pictures of Brandt, but when Joel came around, my camera wasn't working, and I guess I got out of practice. But I got a really nice camera last Christmas, so now I really have no excuse.
Joel thinks these goggles are the best thing ever. He got a black eye from running into the corner of the kitchen table, but it's just about gone in this picture. I don't have any recent pictures of Madison, but when I get some I'll post them. She's so big! She can wear my shoes!
Halloween 2008
I never seem to think ahead when it comes to Halloween. I'm always scrambling at the last minute to find costumes. The kids had fun this year, even if they didn't have the most original costumes. Brandt wanted to be a krabby patty, but I'm pretty sure this costume does not yet exist, and I'm definitely not creative enough to make one. He was happy with his army guy, because it came with a knife and a grenade. Spider-Man was Brandt's from last year, but Joel thought it was great!
I'm still pretty blog illiterate, but I thought I better give it a try, so I can keep up with everyone. It's great to be able to see everyones' kiddos, since all the family rarely gets a chance to get together. Bear with me while I try to get this all figured out, and if anyone has any good blog advice . . . I could use it.
